From everyone here at the NBAA national office, we hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July Weekend.
We would like to thank everyone that brought the AOTY point standings issue to our attention, and we have now resolved the issue and the points have been updated accordingly. The AOTY standings ONLY show the Top 50 anglers by points in each section. If you know you should be seen in a certain AOTY standings, please contact the office (580-765-9031) so we can update your sponsor checklist. We also updated and uploaded over 100 new members, so directors please check out any missing members that you might have in the member database. If you see that they are still missing, please send Shane@nbaa-bass.com an email with a list of still missing members, or fill out the simple form at the bottom of this post. This will help us track them down, update them, and let us figure out what steps need to be taken to resolve any issues.
On a side note, there was an email blast sent out last week going over some 1 time (this year only) changes for Championship tournament qualifications. Also for those anglers who stuck through the whole changing of hands process, we have a special thank you for you!
For this year only: (2013
- Overtime division fish 8 out of 12 instead of the past years 11 of 12 to make a championship.
- One on ONE and Weekend Divisions will be 4 out of 5 tournaments needed to qualify for the Championship Tournaments.
- We hope this helps most divisions, and anglers who started later in the year have a chance to fish the bigger events this year.
**NOTE: ANGLERS MUST MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS FISHING ONE DIVISION**
At the same time we realize that many worked through the beginning of the year and managed to fished every event so far and we want a reward for you too.
So for those NBAA anglers we want to give you a chance at a special reward. Any team who fishes 11 out of 12 overtime or 5 of 5 weekend events this year will be entered into a drawing where we will award one(1) very special prize. A PAID hotel room for ENTIRE week, at the Spring Championship at Grand Lake and a $250.00 Cabela’s Gift card!
The website is coming together, and we once again thank all the anglers and directors for their patience and continued support! Directors please update tournament results on a regular basis as most issues have now been resolved.
