NBAA Sets 2018 & 2019 National Championship Locations On Legendary Fisheries

2018 Location Brings a Whole New Look to Kentucky Lake

2019 Slated for Angler Favorite Port of Kimberling  on Table Rock Lake

PONCA CITY, OK (October 19, 2017) – The National Bass Anglers Association announced today that Kentucky Lake in Camden, Tenn., and Port of Kimberling, Mo., will host the 2018 & 2019 NBAA National Championships. For 2018, Camden and Kentucky Lake will give NBAA anglers a complete new “look” and the Port Of Kimberling was an angler favorite in 2017. Both locations will give NBAA qualified teams across the US a premier event on the top lakes in the country.

Benton County Chamber of Commerce will host the 2018 NBAA National event April 26-28 out of Camden, TN.  NBAA teams will get the chance to launch from a completely new area of massive Kentucky Lake that NBAA hasn’t been to before.

“Our community is very pleased to welcome the National Bass Anglers Association in April 2018 to Kentucky Lake,” Chamber President, Jenna Cole-Wilson, said. “We look forward to hosting this great tournament and all its anglers.”

NBAA anglers will travel from North Carolina to Montana, as far south as Louisiana and many states in between to vie for the championship titles plus cash and prizes.

“The NBAA’s team structure is a great fishing format,” NBAA Tournament Director, Randy Sullivan, said. “Anglers compete with their Buddies in local events of their choosing with very little travel or cost. Then, each year they can qualify for a true national championship event at a famous fishery like Kentucky Lake or Table Rock where they will catch tons of largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass for a chance at cash and prizes such as a new RT 188 Ranger Boat.”

A detailed fact sheet will be posted to the website at www.nbaa-bass.com with more information for the 2018 event.  Wednesday, April 25 will be the evening registration/rules meeting, while competition days will begin Thursday, April 26.  The 2018 Champions will be crowned and awarded their new Ranger Boat on Saturday, April 28.

Full details and dates for 2019 event will be published at a later date.  But, now is the time to get a new, local NBAA division started or join an existing one to start the qualifying process to compete in Kimberling City.  It’s easy to start a NBAA division on a weeknight, or weekend or integrate one into any existing, circuit, trail or jackpot series.
