Lake Of The Ozarks, MO to host the 2026 NBAA National Championship
PONCA CITY, Okla. (November 25, 2025) – The National Bass Anglers Association announced today that Lake of the Ozarks Missouri will host the 20th annual NBAA National Championship in 2026. Qualified teams will come from nearly 2 dozen states to compete on April 15,16,17, 2026.
The Inn at Grand Glaze, Osage Beach Missouri will host the national event with special discounted room rate for NBAA members traveling from Florida to Montana and points in between for the week-long event. Anglers compete in their local overtime or weekend division events on a local lake with very little travel or costs. Then, once each year the top anglers from each NBAA division qualify for a true national championship vacation event at a destination fishery like the fabled Lake of the Ozarks.
This will mark the first time the NBAA National championship is held at Lake Of The Ozarks. “LOZ”, as the locals call it. It is a great fishery, centrally located and a great destination lake to test the best of the best NBAA angler’s from across the nation to see who will be crowned National Champions and take home a new boat as the top prize!
A detailed fact sheet, registration dates and more information will be posted to the website at www.nbaa-bass.com before the years end for those qualified to attend. Info will be sent to each division director as well. Competition days are slated for Wednesday April 15, Thursday April 16 and the 2026 Champions will be crowned on Friday, April 17th. Daily weigh-ins from Grand Glaze Marina PB2 Lake of the Ozarks state park area and will be streamed LIVE on nbaa-bass.com. Weigh ins are free and open to the public.
